Intermediate Championship: Our involvement in the Championship came to an end at the weekend after being defeated by Fenagh. There is now the threat of relegation unfortunately with the semi-final to take place the weekend after next.
St Francis Minors: The minors opened with a good win over St Mary's-Bornacoola on a score of 5-13 to 2-08. Next up is Leitrim Gaels on Wednesday in Drumshanbo at 7pm.
St Francis Ladies: The ladies had a tricky test against Drumkeerin in their final round game but still had a 3 point victory. Now that all rounds are complete the two teams will face off again in the final which is due to take place on Sunday September 6th. Final score St Francis 2-07 Drumkeerin 2-04.
U-14's: Hard luck to the Allen Gaels U-14's who were defeated by St Mary's in their final game.
Festival: A massive thank you to everyone that supported our Summer Festival for 2015. It was definitely a memorable one with some fantastic events. Thanks to the festival committee and to all the volunteers that gave up their time to help all events running so smoothly. Thanks to all those who provided sponsorship for the festival. Most importantly we would like to thank the people of Ballinaglera and their neighbouring areas for coming out in great crowds every day, particularly with the weather being so bad some days. This is the club's main fundraiser each year and without all the support, the club would not be running at all.
Summer Festival Draw: Congratulations to the winners of the draw which took place on Saturday night in Mulvey's. €500 went to Linda Mc Partlin and the two €100 winners were Smyth, Corroge Dowra and Michael Comiskey. Thanks to Frankie Reynolds who did a great job in coordinating the draw.
