Connacht Gold Leitrim Senior Championship 2nd Game: Aughawillan took on Glencar Manorhamillton last Saturday the 25th July in Pairc Sean Mc Diarmada in the second round of the Championship. The game started well with Aughawillan scoring the first three points of the game. Mark Plunkett had to leave the game with an injury. Glencar Manorhamillton gained control at this point and at half time were leading by six points. The second half was more keenly contested after some positional changes on the field and resulted in some strong scores by the Aughawillan Warriors. Ultimately luck was not with us on the day and although a draw was within reach, the final score was Glencar Manorhamillton 0-12 to Aughawillan 1-08. With everything riding on the next game for Aughawillan to go through to the Champioship, the pressure is on!! Willies Abú!!
