Ballinamore SOH Golf Classic

The Ballinamore SOH Golf Classic in Ballinamore Golf Club will be on again this year on Saturday 15th August (closing weekend of the festival). This is a great opportunity to take part in an excellent competition and to support the club as well. Teams of 4. Entry fee €160. To book the timesheet please contact Bríd Sullivan on 087 9173185. Junior Championship
Well done to our Junior teams who were in action over the weekend. First up on Saturday the Junior A lads were playing against Drumkeerin. It was a comprehensive victory by a score of 2:14 to 0:4. This result leaves the Junior A lads top of Group 3. Next up is Gortletteragh, details TBC. Junior B were in action on Sunday against Bornacoola in Carrigallen where they recorded another impressive win by a score of 3:10 to 1:7. Well done to all players on an impressive start to their campaigns.

Intermediate Club Championship
Ballinamore SOH Senior Team take on Ballinaglera in Cloone on Saturday 25th July at 6pm in their next match of the Intermediate Club Championship. Best of luck to the lads in this match, hopefully they can gain victory. You can follow the match live via our twitter feed @ballinamoresoh

Ballinamore Hurling
The Ballinamore Hurling Club has a new Facebook page, search Ballinamore Hurling and make sure to add as a friend to keep up to date. The Ballinamore Hurling Club is an amalgamation of all the surrounding clubs in the area, Aughawillan, Ballinamore, Drumreilly and Fenagh. Under 16 hurling training takes place on Monday evenings from 7-8pm.

Ballinamore Running & Walking Group
Meet at ROR Fitness at 8:15pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can walk, jog or run. Refreshments will be served afterwards. There will be a weekly donation to Temple Street Children's Hospital. Under 14 Championship
Well done to the Ballinamore SOH under 14 lads who took part in a high scoring draw against Fenagh last Friday with a final score of 3:8 to 3:8. The results leaves Sean Ó hEislins joint second in the group ahead of St Mary's and Gael na Meilge. Next up is group leaders Allen Gaels on Friday 24th July at 7pm in Pairc Seán O Heslin.

Stewards Required
Stewards are needed Saturday 25th July at 530pm for Championship games. Please make yourself known to Alan Banks if you can assist.
Ladies Football
Congratulations to the Ballinamore Minor ladies who have amalgamated with St Josephs for this years' championship and are now called St Felims. St Felims were in action in their first match as St Felims against Keeldra Gaels last Thursday in the first round of this years' championship which they won comprehensively. Next up for the St Felims ladies they'll be taking on Mohill this Thursday 23rd July in Mohill at 7pm. The ladies Senior Team, Oughteragh Gaels were also in action in this years' championship where they opened their account against Mohill in a very tight match which they won by a single point with a score of 3:12 to 3:11. Next up for the ladies is this Sunday 26th July against Aughawillan in St Mary's Carrick on Shannon at 1.30pm. We wish both sets of ladies teams all the best in their upcoming championship games.

Comhbhrón
All at Ballinamore SOH would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Crossan family formerly of Convent Rd on the death of Peter's wife Mae in Dromard, Co Longford.

Minor Training
Minor training has commenced every Monday evening in the Park at 8pm. All welcome.

Assorted Fitness Classes
Bootcamp running for the next 6 weeks on Tues at 8pm on Ballinamore GAA pitch for ladies, men & teens. This Thurs at 8pm our fitness class is in Ballinamore sports complex. Weekly fitness classes in Ballinamore GAA Gym Tues & Thurs at 11am. Wednesday at 6.30pm & 7.30pm. Ballinamore Community Centre Mon & Thurs at 8pm.
