Mohill have sneaked up to the summit of the Leitrim senior football league.
They recorded a thumping 4-16 to 1-5 victory over Carrigallen last weekend to eclipse Aughawillan at the top of the table on scoring difference, both teams having gathered twelve points from eight games. The Willies lost to St Mary's, Kiltoghert last day out.
Meanwhile, Glencar/Manor are in a strong position following their 0-8 apiece draw with Melvin Gaels last weekend; they are in third place on the Division One table with eleven points and a game in hand.
Mohill are also top of Division Three at present with 19 points from ten games, while Leitrim Gaels sit atop the second division with a 100% record after eight outings.
The league is now gone into recess as club and county championship action takes precedence.
