Division 5:
Our third team recorded their first win of 2015 in Division 5 when they defeated St Mary's in Carrick on Sunday last. The team was Darren Mulvey, Liam Mitchell, Peadar Cassells, Shane Keighran, Keoghan McGovern, Terry Kellegher, David Campbell, Dylan Ward, Barry Tiernan, Mark Kennedy, Sean Costello, Jimmy Canning, Conor Woods, Shane Sorohan, Patrick Kennedy. Subs: Derek Kellegher and Darren Clarke.
U14's:
On Monday 4th May our U-14's played Annaduff in 11 A Side League Final in Dromod. Unfortunately we lost out to a bigger, stronger Annaduff team with a scoreline of 3-9 to 2-6. Well done and hard luck to all the boys who tried their best on the day, we can look forward to the championship later in the year with optimism. The team and subs were: Killian McAuley, Ryan Cunningham, Tom Reel, Jamie Quinn, Mark Reynolds, Kieran Reen, Brendan Davis, Odhran Heslin, Shane Reynolds, James Cunningham, Oisin Niblock, Brendan Naughton, Conor Niblock, Daire Heslin, Cian McNulty.
Connacht GAA Senior Football Championship:
Next Sunday is the big day as far as our Inter County team is concerned. All roads lead to Pairc Sean at 3.30 pm for the clash with Galway. We wish Cathal McCrann, Niall Woods, all of the Leitrim team and Management the best of luck. Let's get behind them as these lads have put in a serious effort in the name of Leitrim Football and the least we can do as supporters is give them an hour and a half of our time.
Sympathy:
The club would like to offer its sympathy to the family and friends of the late Jim Howard who passed away on Monday last. We also sympathise with former Gortletteragh great Mick Kane on the death of his sister Sally in England. May they Rest in Peace.
