Ballinamore SOH Dinner Dance

Thanks to everyone that attended the Ballinamore SOH dinner dance on Easter Sunday night. It was a great night's entertainment with medal presentations for St Felims Minor boys' team and the SOH Minor girls' team. A special commemorative picture was also presented to our successful 1964 Senior Championship winning team to celebrate 50 years since their historic victory. There was also a presentation on the night to our 1990 Championship winning team on this their 25th anniversary of that famous victory over Aughawillan. We would also like to thank Shane & Karen from The Standing Stone for their excellent hospitality and to our excellent compare on the night Alan Banks. Thanks as ever to Eunan Sweeney for photographing the event and to all our sponsors for the vast array of spot prizes.

Leitrim Senior Team
Well done to Ballinamore SOH's Shane Moran and Matthew Murphy who played in the final round of the national league against Waterford on Saturday and starred in an impressive win with Leitrim running out winners by 0-15 to 0-10. Both Shane and Matthew have been impressive in this years' league campaign. Hopefully they can continue this good form for Ballinamore SOH.

Commiserations
Hard luck to our ACL Division 4 lads who were narrowly defeated by Annaduff on Sunday 5th April. This was despite the return to the team of one of our older players, Mark Kiernan.
