Senior County

Our Senior County team had a good win over Carlow on Sunday last. The Mohill boys had fine games. Ronan Gallagher and Daniel Beck played the full 70 mins as did Ronan Kennedy. The latter scored four great points and set up many of the other scores.

Recent Wedding

Congrats to Karl Rogers who wed Ciara Beirne on Sat last. May they have a long and happy life together in Mohill.

Ladies County

Well done to our great County Ladies's team who won once again in the Div 3 of the League. Three Mohill club ladies starred in Ballinamore on Sunday last, Mairéad Stenson/Beirne, Deirdre Ward and Claire Beirne. While Caoimhe Canning, Dearbhaile Beirne and Christine Quinn are on the panel.

Down Memory Lane by Gerry Bohan

This week we go back 51 years to 1964 and a  Junior game with Aughnasheelin where Mohill were defeated 3-7 to 1-1.  The team was, John(Poocher) Gordon, Paddy Haughey, Sean McManus, John Mulligan, Michael Gallagher, Anthony Canning, George Booth, Tom Mulvey 0-1, Christy McCaffrey, (Capt), Brendan Gallagher, Michael McGuinness, Sean Bannon 1-0, Padraig Guckian, Liam Flynn, Sylvester Kivlehan. Subs used Eddie McGarty, Peter Gordon.

Recent Bereavements

The Club extend deepest sympathy to the family of Damien Rogan Gortletteragh who died in a tragic accident recently. Damien was well known and loved by the people of Mohill and will be sadly missed.. Ar Dheis Dé go raobh sé.
