History

This project is progressing steadily with most of the years covered by our researchers. There will be a meeting of the Committee on March 7 in the Clubrooms at 9pm. All those involved and any one interested are asked to attend. If anyone has old medals or photographs in their possession contact M Lynch 0861765987. We would also welcome interesting anecdotes re. football from people.

County Ladies

The magnificent Ladies County team had another great win in the League on Sunday last in chilly Ballinamore. Fermanagh was the opposition this time and there were six Mohill Ladies involved in this victory, Mairead Stenson/Beirne, Christine Quinn, Deirdre Ward, Claire Beirne, Dearbhile Beirne and Caoimhe Canning.

Eileen Prior RIP

We extend deepest sympathy to Angela Mitchell and her family on the death of her dear Aunt Eileen last week. A great football lady like Angela may she rest in peace. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh sí.

Memory Lane by Gerry Bohan

We go back to 2003 and remember a Minor Championship Final victory over Allen Gaels. This was part of our historic three in a row. The following players togged out on the day. Mascot on the day was Alan McLoughlin.
