Medal Presentation
The Minor girls and boys and Under 16 boys will be presented with their medals by Senior Manager Pauric Davis on Friday next Jan 30 at 7pm in Planxty's. Ladies Senior player of the year will also get a presentation. Finger food will be served on the night.

Bereavements

We extend deepest sympathy to our Treasurer Francis McGowan on the death of his brother-in-law Bob Briscoe in Kinsale last week. May he rest in peace.

Gerry Bohan's Memory Lane

This week we go back to 1973 and an exciting first round Junior League match played in Carrick in which Mohill defeated the home side on a 3-5 to 2-6 scorline thanks to a dramatic last minute goal from a 14 yards free kick by Sean (Bula) McCrann. Carrick led at the interval 2-3 to 0-3. Frankie Bohan in goal, Sean (Bula) McCrann, Anthony Canning, and John Gordon in defence, Willie Joe Higgins and Johnny McNabola at centre field and Chris Foley, John Louis Reynolds, Tom Reynolds, Pascal Wynne and Brian Gordon in attack.  Mickey Martin and Willie Donnellan were best for Carrick. Other players were, Brendan Gallagher, Don Reynolds, Brian Stenson, PJ Reynolds. Michael Kelly was the sub.
