Leitrim Seniors:
Leitrim finished off their FBD campaign with a narrow defeat to Sligo on Sunday last in Sligo. Cathal McCrann was playing at midfield. Now that Leitrim's FBD campaign is over all eyes turn towards Sunday 1st February when our neighbours Longford come calling to Pairc Sean in the first round of the League. Leitrim Manager Shane Ward has tried out a lot of players but he will surely be fielding his strongest side for that game and let's hope our two players Cathal McCrann and Niall Woods make the team.
Birthday Greetings:
Congratulations to senior player John Reynolds who celebrated his 21st birthday last weekend with his family and friends.
Gortletteragh GAA Club Supporters Draw 2015:
The time is ticking for the big club draw which is due to take place on February 14th, so if you haven't already got your ticket, make sure you get one from any of the club players or members of the club executive. Tickets are €20 each. This year we are replacing the monthly draw with a once off draw. Prizes as follows: 1st €3000, 2nd €1500, 3rd One night B & B and Evening Meal for two people sharing in Lough Rynn Castle Hotel, 4th €100, 5th €100, 6th €100, 7th €100, 8th €100.
Dinner/Buffet Dance:
The club is in the process of arranging a dinner/buffet dance whereby medals will be presented to our Division 3 League winners and a presentation to the 2014 Senior and Junior Player of the Year. We hope to have this function within the next month or so. More details to follow.
