Under 21
Our U21's, St Manchan's, top the group with 3 wins (6pts) finishing Saturday with a win over St Josephs putting us into the Championship Semi Final. We now play the second placed team of the other group which is to be confirmed. The team at the weekend was, Jason Farry, James Mitchell, Nathan Conboy, Ryan Bohan, Oisin Madden, Ronan Reynolds, Eanna Madden, Shane Quinn, Caillin Canning, Niall Quinn, Darragh Gordon, Michael Bohan, Cian McGuinness, Alan McLoughlin, Ronan Gordon Subs: Jack McGarry, Alan Tuthill, Kevin Flynn, Keith Keegan, Jamie Cosgrove. Nice to see Keith Keegan and Alan Tuthill back from injury. The game was played in Mohill.

Chrissie O Beirne.

The club extend deepest sympathy to the Colette, Kieran and Patrick O Brirne on the death of their mother Chrissie last week. Chrissie and her late husband Sean were always generous to this club while they ran their great supermarket. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sí

The Mission

Everyone was so proud to see all the young people from Mohill and Eslin participating and attending the marvellous Mission that was held last week. It was truly a life changing event in our parish.

AGM

The Annual General Meeting of our Club will take place on Sunday the 7th of December at 5pm in the Clubhouse

Park Re-Dedication and Official Opening

The Park will be renamed and officially opened in the beginning of Januaty. We expect to have everyone out to tidy and paint for the next few weeks and have the Park and surrounds looking good in honour of Philly McGuinness who will be remembered by the generations who follow us.

Gerry Bohan's Memory Lane

This week we go back to 1972 and to a first round Championship (Senior) in which reighning Champions mohill lost out to St Mary's who were not who you might think but an amalgamation of Aughavas and Cloone on a 1-8 to 0-10 scoreline following a great game in Gortletteragh. Our boys got back into the Championship race to reach the Final via the loosers group. Despit the defeat all tried desperately hard. The lineout was, Shane Moran, Tom Melia, Brendan Gallagher (Capt), Sean Kilrane, Sean (Bula) McCrann, Chris Foley, Frankie Keegan, Des Keegan, John Baxter, Gerry Keegan 0-2, Sean Bannon 0-3, John Murphy 0-2, Brian Gordon, Michael McGuinness 0-3, Liam Guckian.
