Corofin midfielder Ronan Steede says Aughawillan gave the Galway champions food for thought in the first half.
The winners led by 0-11 to 0-3 at the break in Pairc Sean on Sunday but Man of the Match Steede wasn't happy at the short whistle:
"In the first half, Aughawillan came at us and they scared us. They are a big physical team," he notes in The Leitrim Observer.
"At half time, we weren't happy with our performance and Stephen Rochford wasn't happy with us.
"I wasn't happy. We missed a good few chances, the 'keeper made a great save from Dylan Wall, we hit the post. I think Martin Farragher had three wides and Aughawillan really tested us."
