Carrick and Gortletteragh to contest SHC decider
October 16, 2014Carrick and Gortletteragh have booked their places in the 2015 Leitrim SHC final.
On Sunday in Ballinamore, Carrick dethroned holders Cluainin when James Glancy netted in the 60th minute and Clement Cunniffe clipped over his twelfth point deep into stoppage time to secure a thrilling 1-14 to 0-16 semi-final victory.
The other semi-final was every bit as exciting, with Gortletteragh recovering from a three-point deficit to beat Ballinamore by 2-9 to 1-11.
In this game, it was Cathal McCrann (0-6) who nailed the winning free at the death.
