Good Luck
Best of luck to the Senior team as they take on Ballinaglera in the Intermediate Football Championship semi final in Pairc Seán at 5pm this Saturday September 6th. Hopefully the lads can build on their fine quarter final result and earn a place in this years' championship final.

Minor Championship
Final score St Felims 4:17 Fenagh/Gortletteragh 1:08
St Felims ran out winners in a game which was far closer than the score line suggests in windswept Fenagh on Wednesday. St Felims got off to a great start and playing with the wind they lead 1:2 to no score after five minutes. They were to hold this lead until the final whistle. St Felims led 2:09 to 0:07 at half time and pushed on in the second half to run out winners against a determined Fenagh/Gortletteragh side. They now face St Bridget's next Wednesday knowing a win will put them into the county final in September. This match takes place at 7pm in Ballinamore.

Ballinamore Battle of the Sidelines
Well done to club men Brian Breen and Peter Reynolds who were on opposing sides in this years' London football championship. On this occasion Tir Connaill Gaels managed by our own Brian Breen defeated Fulham Irish where our club man Peter is one of the selectors. The match took place this year in sunny conditions at the Emerald GAA grounds and was shown live on Sky Channel 191. Brian's team won the match by a score of 1-12 to 1-9 despite being reduced to 14 men in the second half. I'm sure Peter and Brian put aside their rivalry after the game and enjoyed some well earned pints in the Anchor pub.

Commiserations
Commiserations to Sarah McLoughlin and Laura O'Dowd and all the Leitrim Ladies who were defeated by Down in this year's All Ireland semi final. The ladies were beaten by a score of 1-16 to 2-10 in a game that needed extra time to seperate the two teams. Unfortunately on this occasion the ladies could not gain victory and a place in the final. The ladies should be proud of their achievements this year. They've shown a great deal of skill, determination and heart and hopefully next year they can go one step further. Leitrim Abú.

Get well soon
Everyone at the club would like to wish Brian Leydon a speedy recovery from injury.

Congratulations to Sean Ó hEslins who defeated Dromahair by a score of 6-12 to 1-3.
