Results & Fixtures
The minor team play the amalgamation of our neighbours Ballinagleara & Allen Gaels,  St Francis,  in the minor championship semi-final on this Wednesday evening, September 3rd .  The game is fixed for Aughnasheelin at 7 pm and your support for the lads would be appreciated. 
The under 12 team commenced the 2014 championship with a narrow defeat to at home to Annaduff on Monday evening. The under 12's will have no game next week due to a bye .
We have no adult fixtures this week.   A reminder that the underage coaching for under 6, 8 & 10's continues each Saturday morning at the pitch from 10 to 11 am.

Club 5 K
Some advance notice of our upcoming 5 K club road race/walk so that you have a few weeks to get working on the fitness levels.  It is planned that the event will take place during October and will be open to all, young and not so young, from walkers to competitive runners.  More details will be available in the coming weeks.

Leitrim Ladies
Hard luck to the Leitrim ladies who were edged out by Down last weekend in the intermediate All Ireland semi final after extra time in what was a thrilling contest.  Kiltubrid ladies had a number of personnel involved with the team and panel.

Club Meeting
The September club meeting takes place in the club rooms on this Tuesday evening, September 2nd at 8:30 pm.  All members are welcome.

All Ireland Tickets
With the exciting results in the All Ireland football semi final over the weekend the scramble for final tickets has already began.   The draw to allocate the clubs allocation of both All Ireland football & hurling tickets takes place at Tuesdays club meeting.  All club members who have paid their 2014 membership on time are automatically entered in the draw and the winners will be notified afterwards.

Lough Key Triathlon
The local Lough Key Triathlon Club host their annual National Triathlon Event on Sunday morning next, September 7th, in and around Lough Key Forest Park. Over 250 competitors are expected to participate. Good luck to the many competitors from the parish and local area which are participating.   Anyone who may want to see this event up close or might be willing to lend a hand to marshal for a hour two on Sunday morning , please contact Finbarr on 086-8196535.
