Fixtures & results
Our Division 2 league game last Friday night was wisely abandoned after a few minutes due to the torrential thunder, lightning and rain. This game is scheduled to be replayed this Friday night same time and place, hopefully without the light and noise spectacle of last Friday night.
Our under 14 team lost out at home to a stronger Melvin Gaels team on Friday evening. On Monday evening away to Dromahair we ended up on the wrong side of final score line of 7-9 to 6-9. In both games we were without our inspirational captain Diarmud Mc Thiarnann. Diarmuid is recovering after a recent illness and we wish him a speedy recovery.
Kiltubrid's first minor championship game of 2014 is scheduled for Wednesday week, August 6th.

Work at the Pitch this week
As you may have noticed we have been busy over the last week or so making a start on the much needed refurbishment works on the club room complex. On Tuesday evening we plan to carry out some further small DIY jobs and general improvements. On Wednesday evening the Ladies plan to start painting the area. Anyone who can spare an hour or two on either evening from about 6 pm onwards, your help will be most appreciated. Many hands make light work.
