Eanna Madden.
While we miss him terribly on the football field we nevertheless are really proud of Eanna Madden who won the National Championship U23, 100m and 200m last weekend. Well done Eanna.
Bereavement

Co Ladies
Congratulations to the Co Intermediate Ladies who won the Connacht Final on Sunday last. There were five Mohill girls on the panel Maireád Stenson-Beirne, Dee Ward, Claire Beirne, Ciara Keegan and Caoimhe Canning.
Senior Championship
Well done to our Seniors who have reached the knockout stages of the Championship with a win over Allen Gaels on Sat evening last. There will be a report elsewhere in this paper
Intermediate Championship
Our second string is finding the going tough when up against first teams in the Intermediate Championship but our young men kept battling to the very end in their encounter with Aughnasheelin on Sunday morning. Our old guns are not giving up either, veteran player Michael Lynch was proud to captain them on Sunday after an amazing 26 years playing adult football for his Club.
Junior B Championship
The Junior B Championship will start this week end so let's hope there will be big support for these players. There is also Senior League fixtures.
Monster Draw
To run a GAA Club at present is a very costly business. The price of Park Maintanance, Insurance, Affiliation are phenomenal. With this in mind we are having a Monster Draw to raise funds. Tickets are €20 with a book of 6 for €100. There will be over €2000 in prizes. All club members will be selling tickets so get your shoulder to the wheel and push.
Disco
Dont forget to tog out in your 80s costume and enjoy the Disco in Planxty Maguires on Sat next in aid of Bórd na nÓg.
