Comhghairdeas
Congratulations to the SOH contingent Luke Murphy, Dean and Niall McGovern, Donal Feely and Peter Reynolds and the rest of the Leitrim Minor team on their historic victory against Galway in the Connaught Minor League. Leitrim found themselves 6 points down at half time and playing against the wind. An early goal on 35 mins from SOH player Peter Reynolds who fisted into the net to make it 1-4 to Leitrim against Galways 0-9. Leitrim continued to push forward and finished the game victorious by 1 point with a score of 1-7 to 0-9. A fantastic display by the Leitrim players to overturn a 6 point deficit at halftime against a much fancied Galway team. Leitrim Abú!
