Comhghairdeas
Congratulations to the SOH contingent and all the Leitrim team who claimed victory against London in Ruislip last Sunday with a score of 2-6 to 1-7.
Comhbhrón
Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Nuala Maloney, Church Street, who passed away on Thursday gone. Nuala and her family had strong ties to Leitrim and Sean O'Heslin's in particular with her father winning two senior championships in 1913 and 1922 and went on to be County Treasurer. All at Sean O Heslin's would like to pass on our deepest sympathies to her sisters Sr Miriam, Sr Carmel Joseph and Sr Berchmans and sister in law Maureen and all of her family and friends. Go ndéana Dia trócaire uirthi.

Comhghairdeas
Congratulations to John & Marie Kavanagh on the birth of their daughter Alisha Marie who arrived on the 3rd April. Ruairi and Alex O'Sullivan also welcomed a new addition this week. Baby Bobby was born on 7th April. Congratulations to all.
Under 14
Hard luck to our Under 14 team whose excellent run of results came to an end on Friday last when they beaten by St Mary's Kiltoghert by a score of 4-12 to 2-9.
Leitrim Shield
The Leitrim Sheild match against Carrigallen was postponed. We will advise on the rearranged date in due course. The Division 3 game also against Carrigallen was cancelled as well.
Leitrim Minors
Congratulations to the SOH contingent; Luke Murphy, Dean and Niall McGovern, Donal Feely and Peter Reynolds and the rest of the Leitrim Minor team who extended their unbeaten run against Mayo in the Connacht league last Saturday in Pairc Sean by a score of 1-12 to 2-7. Next up for the team is their league match against Galway in Tuam on Saturday at 5pm. A win in this important match would make them Connaught League Champions.
Leitrim Under 21
Commiserations to the Leitrim Under 21 team who took to the field against Roscommon last Saturday in Pairc Sean. Hopefully the Leitrim players can build on this defeat and it should not take away from the excellent result they achieved against Galway in the semi final. This impressive victory coupled with the impressive form of our minors so far this year shows that Leitrim can be competitive at this level in the future.
Hurling
Commiserations to the Ballinamore hurling contingent; Michael Domican, Brendan Mulvey, Paddy McManus, Fergal, Paul and Joe Earley, Eamonn Walsh, Sean Fox, Kevin O'Connor, Morgan Quinn and the rest of the Leitrim panel who took to the field against favourites, Tyrone in the Alliance NHL Division 3 Final. The Leitrim players with their skill and high tempo play frustrated the favourites Tyrone and went in leading at half time by 0-6 to 0-4. Unfortunately this determination and skill was not enough to claim victory as Tyrone snatched a win with the last score of the game with a free from inside their own half to give them a winning score of 0-13 to 1-9. A cruel end to a fantastic Leitrim performance. The players and management should take heart and be proud of their achievements so far and hopefully they can build on this in the future.
Mislaid Jerseys
Could all parents and underage players have a look at home for the following "First Active" jerseys; 1, 5, 8, 9 and 21. If any are located please drop them to Alan Banks. Thank you.
