Fermanagh got their campaign off to a winning start following this 3-13 to 0-12 win over Leitrim at Ballinamore, while Warwickshire defeated Longford 1-15 to 1-10.

Leitrim started well and led by 0-6 to 0-3 by the 15th minute. However, Sean Corrigan hit a goal for the visitors to help them lead by 1-5 to 0-7 at half time.

Goals from Shea Curran and Karl Kehoe moved Fermanagh comfortably in front by the 50th minute as they ran out easy winners.

Warwickshire showed great determination to hold off the challenge of league champions Longford by 1-15 to 1-10. The Exiles trailed by 1-7 to 0-9 at half time, but fought back to claim a merited victory. Tweet
