Young: nothing won yet

September 10, 2010
Glencar/Manorhamilton manager Glenn Young has played down his side's chances of completing a coveted three-in-a-row after his charges qualified for yet another final.

The defending champions had four points to spare over a battling Mohill side in the semi final last weekend and they now progress to their third consecutive final.

However, Young stressed that all talk of a three-in-a-row will be put to the back of their minds as they concentrate on defeating St Mary's in this year's decider.

"I'm thrilled for them getting back into the county final and for showing the hunger, the desire, and the passion to want to get there again," said Young.

"But it is only another step, there is still a big hour to come. I said to the lads don't let it go because when it does go, sometimes it takes a long time to get it back. I know they are young and they'll say I have another ten or 12 years, but it doesn't happen like that."
