Recent Death

The Club extend deepest sympathy to Barry Lupton on the death of his father Michael on Sunday morning last. Barry and his partner Aoife are tireless workers and players for Mohill GAA for many years. Michael’s daughter Bridget has taken part in all our recent fundraising and indeed herself and Aoife were the joint winners of “I’m a Celebrity” His grandchildren are emerging stars now at underage level. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé.

Under 17

This age group had their first defeat on Monday last. St Mary’s were the victors but the game was overshadowed by a serious head injury to midfielder Conor Quinn. Conor will be out of action for some time and we wish him a speedy recovery. Well done to medics Lucia and Liz for their excellent work on the night. They play  Allen Gaels in Drumshanbo on Mon next Aug 17,

Senior Championship

Next Saturday the senior team meet Aughawillan in the last game of the qualifiers. The Championship is wide open now with the new kids on the block ready to knock the old reliables off their pedestals. Best of luck boys keep your eyes on the prize .

Junior B Championship

The second string was in action on Sunday last in sunny Drumkeerin. They came away with full points after Drumkeerin put up a good fight. Good to see some of our injured players back in action.

Although many copies were sold at the time, there were too many printed and we have good amount available to distribute. It makes great reading for young and old and history never goes out of date.
