Gortletteragh club notes

July 15, 2020

Intermediate Championship:
This weekend sees a start of the club championship football across the county. OnSaturday next 18th we welcome St Patrick's Dromahair to Gortletteragh for the opening round of the Smith Monumentals Intermediate Championship. Throw-in is scheduled for 7pm. We would ask all patrons and supporters to follow the directions of stewards when parking at the grounds, to abide by the Covid-19 regulations in the grounds and to adhere to social distancing at all times. Admission for supporters / spectators will be open from 6pm and government restrictions on capacity will apply.

As always your support for the team is greatly appreciated. This year under the new structure of the championship competitions due to the impact of Covid-19, clubs retain the gates at home matches so your support will be double-fold as it will also assist clubs financially in a season where fundraising activity is at a minimum.  We look forward to the resumption of competitive football and wish the lads and their management team the very best of luck.

Stewarding:
Anybody who is available to give a hand with stewarding and traffic management at the park on Saturday evening next  please get in touch with either Barry Costello, Darren Mulvey or Colum Fox.

U15’s Championship:

Our U15’s also get a start on their championship this weekend. On Friday evening 17th July at 7pm Rinn Gaels will meet St Joseph’s in Round 1 of the Westlink Coaches Championship. Venue for this game is Carrigallen. Once again your support for our young lads is greatly appreciated.
