Senior Championship

On Sunday next the senior men will play Ballinamore in the Championship Semi-final at 4.15 in Avantcard Páirc Seán. This is the most important game of the year so please support.  

Under 15

At U15 now we have two teams participating. The first 13 are called the blue team and the second side is the white team. The Blues got their championship underway with a good win over Annaduff on Saturday morning. The panel and scorers was: L Bohan, M Tiernan, C Donohue, T McNabola, J Rowley, D Casey, C Keegan 1-1, A McGuinness, A Mulligan, L Flynn 1-1, E Duignan, C McNamara 0-3, M Murphy 2-7, E Kilrane. We wish a speedy recovery to the young Annaduff player who picked up a serious knee injury. The whites played MacDiarmada Gaels on Sunday morning and another 16 different players featured.  This was a very competitive game but the Gaels won by a goal, the score was of 5-6 to 3-9. Speedy recovery

We wish a speedy recovery to Senan Curran who sustained a fractured wrist in the Under 15 Div 2 game.

Mohill Ladies

Mohill Ladies played Carrick/Bornacoola in the Intermediate semi-fnal on Sunday last in Aughavas. It was a hard fought victory as with about five minutes to go they were four down but managed to draw level bringing the game to extra time. They pulled away then and won easily so now will contest the Intermediate Final later this month. Well done all concerned

Lotto Result

There was no Lotto winner. The numbers drawn were:3-7-8-21. Lucky dip winners were €70 Frank Reynolds Kilamaun, €40 Catherine Charles C/O  O Carolans, €20 Nora Donnelly Cloone. The jackpot is now € 9100.

Handball Lessons

Parents of children between the ages of 10-12 yrs who would like to see their children playing handball are urged to attend a Handball open day and coaching workshop in Annaduff Centre of Excellence on Sat October 5. The Nursery

The very young footballers had their last coaching session on Sat morning and were all presented with medals and goodies by our Senior players. We thank the Bórd na nÓg for the work they put in all year. Special mention to Claire Quinn who is chief coach, childrens officer etc. etc. despite recently breaking a couple of limbs. We wish her a speedy recovery.
