CHAMPIONSHIP:
We played our third match of the championship last weekend losing to Bornacoola on a
score line of 0-14 to 2-10. We have a break this coming weekend. Our Junior B team plays
on Saturday 17 th in Carrigallan v Fenagh St Caillins.
LOTTO:
There was no winner of the Lotto Jackpot of €14,000 last Saturday night. The numbers
drawn were 3-5-4-0-2-7-6-1. €30 winners on the night were Kevin Maguire, Ciaran McCabe,
Rory Kiernan, Rachel & Liam McIntyre and Ann Gallogly. The House Prize sponsored by The
Dugout was won by Dan O’Brien. The next draw will be held in Terry Shortt’s Heritage Bar
on Saturday 17 th August to coincide with Ballinamore Festival. If you are available to help
out with selling and hosting on the night please come to Shortt’s Heritage Bar at 9:30pm.
The Jackpot now stands at €14,100. Lotto envelopes €2 each or three envelopes for €5 – if
you’re not in you can’t win.
St JOSEPH’S BOYS:
Our U 17’s got a win over Annaduff during the week; they are now in a semi-final v St
Mary’s. Best of luck to all involved.
The U13’s boys fought out a hard earned draw v Allen Gales on Thursday evening. Next up
is a home game v Rinn Gaels in Aughavas.
Eastern Gales Regional Team lost out in the final to Southern Gaels in Cloone on Friday
evening last, despite leading for a long period of the game we were unable to hold on with
southern Gaels finishing strong. Well done to all involved in this group.
Training resumes for the U15’s this week, messages will be sent out.
