Division 1

League Football is in full swing. Last Wednesday the lads came up short away to St Mary's. Thanks to the St Mary's club for laying on food for both sets of travelling players after the game. On Saturday it was a home game vs Ballinamore and despite the performances improving the win was just beyond our grasp.

Upcoming Fixtures

Tonight Wednesday the Seniors are away to Annaduff at 8pm and on Saturday Allen Gaels are the visiting team to Cornageeha with a throw in time of 7 pm.

Esquires U12 Cross Border League

Our U12s took on MacDiarmada Gaels last Saturday in a very warm Páirc Sean at 2 o’clock. To say it was a battle would be an understatement. From the start we found it tough to get any control of the game. It was score for score in the first half.  The second half was the same way. Every time Mac Diarmada Gaels would score we hit back with score of our own. It was 18 to 14 to MacDiarmada Gaels heading for full time but we dug deep and hit two 2 pointers to draw it at full time. Extra time of 5 mins a half but Mac Diarmada Gaels finished stronger and ran out winners on a score line 20 -26. These young lads are a credit to themselves and their clubs on how they performed and never gave up till the final whistle. U12 Panel: Daire McGirl, Brian Liu Doyle, John McGoldrick, James McDowell, Ben Cunningham, Patrick Gormley, Conor Reynolds, Noah Beck, Killian Lyons , Ultán McNulty, John McGarry, Aaron Keighran, Andrew Bohan, Tadhg Crowe, Ryan Egan, Evan Bohan, Cian Sorahan, Oliver McManus, Donnchadh Colreavy, Padraig Niblock, Tommy Heaney, Rian Shanley, Rory Langan, Adam Molloy.

Big thanks to Derek Hunter, The Copper Still for putting up food for the players after the game. Thanks also to Deirdre Gannon from Gannon Design and Artwork for crest design.
