U17 League Final - Congratulations to the Fenagh St Caillin's u17 team and management of winning the 2019 u17 Div 2 league final replay. In another tense battle with Leitrim Gaels the teams finished all square at full time but the Fenagh boys really took off in extra time outscoring the opposition by 7pts to 1pt and romped to victory on a scoreline of Fenagh St Caillin's 3.23, Leitrim Gaels 4.14. A perfect tonic as they move up to challenge in Div 1 for the championship which commences next week. 

 

Dunnes Bar Division 1 League - Fenagh St Caillin's suffered a defeat on Saturday evening last going down to Leitrim Gaels by 1.13 to 0.10. On Sat evening next they are away to Aughawillan with a 7pm start.

 

Feile Peil na nÓg - last weekend our Club welcomed the u14 players from Kilmacow Gaa Club in Kilkenny who we hosted as part of this years Feile. Fenagh St Caillin's u14's travelled to Tourlestrane on Friday evening where they found the going tough, suffering defeat to Fingal Ravens and Tourlestrane. Fortunes improved on Saturday with a victory over our visitors in Pairc Sean O'Laodain and a quarter final win over Kenagh in the Bee Park. Another trip to Manorhamilton on Sunday saw the lads loose out in the semi final to Oran. Our visitors from Kilmacow really got into their stride on Saturday afternoon and Sunday winning quarter and semi finals and then producing an excellent display to win the Div 12 Shield with victory over Oran. Congratulations to Kilmacow and we hope ye had an enjoyable weekend in Fenagh and Leitrim. Thank's to our host families and club volunteers who helped make the weekend a sucess.

 

Celtic Challenge - well done to the Leitrim u17 hurlers who were victorious in their Celtic Challenge final on Saturday last defeating Longford. Fenagh St Caillin's players Fergal and Eoin McLoughlin starred for them.
