Another side with a tricky away tie in the All-Ireland SFC qualifiers is Clare who face a Leitrim side full of confidence at Carrick on Shannon on Saturday evening.

Clare manager Colm Collins explained to the Clare Champion that nothing but a decent performance will see them make the long journey with a win.

Leitrim will be quietly confident of causing an upset and Collins knows the threat they pose, especially in their own backyard.

“They are a team on the up and they went on a great run in Division Four. They are quite a young team with some really good and exciting forwards,” said Collins.

“They have had their one championship win and their tails are up. We realise we are going to have to be at our best to win the match and no more about it, but I think we can do that.”
