County Team

Well done to all concerned at county level on a good win over Wicklow on Saturday. We congratulate the whole panel and Mohill’s reps, Shane, Domhnaill and Oisín who all played their part well. We look forward to the next game against Clare on the June 22 weekend in Carrick

Div 4

With most adult football at a standstill due to the success of the county, D4 was the only competition at the weekend. Mohill faded in the last five minutes in a keenly contested game against Carrick. The serious injury to our chief marksman Colm Beirne did not help matters we wish Colm a speedy recovery. Scorers were: S Kennedy 0-3, J Boyle 1-0, C Beirne 0-2, D Wynne 0-2, J McGuinness 0-2 J Beirne 0-2, S McGowan 0-2, F Beirne 0-1

U12

These rising stars had a good win over Drumlish in the cross-county competition last week. On Thursday next Mohill play Emmet Óg Killoe in the same competition at Pairc Philly at 7.30. The U11s also had a good win over Fenagh on Saturday morning.

PhillyMcGuinness Cup Final

On Saturday next at 3pm in Mohill we have the honour of holding the final of the Philly McGuinness Memorial U20 Development competition. The teams competing, are, Tyrone and Sligo, so we look forward to a good game and a big crowd to honour the memory of a young man who will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
