The senior lads return to league action on Saturday with a match against Fenagh in Fenagh at 16:00. This is a very important match which will determine who reaches the league final.

Indoor Hurling

 

Indoor Hurling for U10-U13 for 2019 Season is currently on Monday  nights 6-7 in the Sports Complex, Full Equipment Provided and this is an excellent introduction to the game.

Comhgairdeas to Ella May Spain and her teammates from Scoil Mhuire in Sandymount who won the All Dublin national schools Gaelic Football final in Croke Park today. Ella May is a granddaughter of John & Evelyn Smith and daughter of Sinead who hails from High Street and she is a regular visitor to Ballinamore .

 

Book Launch

 

“Under the Thatch: Memories of a Longford Childhood” written by our own Seán Ó Súilleabháin was launched on Tuesday evening and is now available to buy, this is a fantastic book that Seán has written about his memories of life in North Longford in the 1950s and 1960s in a most entertaining way.
