Our next game is Sunday 26th August in Ballinamore at 12 noon against our neighbours Cloone. Please come out and support the team.

 

 

St JOSEPH'S BOY'S:

 

Best of luck to our U17's in the Championship semi-final coming up shortly.  Congratulations to Mary Mitchell on winning the Two All-Ireland Football tickets in the Coiste na Nog Liatroma draw held recently.

 

Anyone missing clothing after the Cul Camps or games please call into the Park to collect it as soon as possible, otherwise it is all going to the Clothes Bank in mid-September

 

 

LOTTO:

 

There was no winner of the Lotto last Saturday night. The numbers drawn were 2-6-1-5-7-4-3-0 €30 winners on the night were Conor Shortt, Niall Cahill, Terry Moran, Tommy Farry and Ann Hynes.  The House Prize sponsored by Terry Shortt was won by his barmaid Zyc. Thanks to Terry & Agnes for their hospitability and also to all the support we received on the night. The next draw will be run by Pauline & Fintan's team which will be held in "The Dugout" on Saturday 1st September.  Jackpot is €11,600. Lotto envelopes €2 each or three envelopes for €5.

 

 

PRESENTATION:

 

The funds collected from the annual Turlough Conefrey Memorial Tournament were presented in Aughavas GAA Clubrooms on Friday 10th August.  Caroline Conefrey presented a cheque to Edel Conboy on behalf of "Friends of the Children's Ward", Cavan Hospital and to Annemarie Conefrey on behalf of "St Christopher's Services", Longford in memory of Ciara Conefrey, RIP.  Thanks to all who contributed on the day and to the school teams who took part in the tournament last June.

 

 

CLUB & EXECUTIVE MEETING:

 

The next Club & Executive meeting will be held in the Clubrooms on Thursday 30th August at 9pm.
