Tonight's Connacht JFC semi-final between Galway and Sligo has been called off as the Yeats County has withdrawn from the competition.
The game was fixed to be played Tuam Stadium at 7pm but the Connacht Council has announced that the Tribesmen will advance to the final despite having not played a game to date in the competition.
They await the winners of tomorrow's penultimate stage clash between Leitrim and Mayo in the decider which is pencilled in for MacHale Park on Sunday (1.30pm).
