There was no winner of the Lotto jackpot on St Stephen's day.  The numbers drawn were 1-7-0-3-4-6-5-2.  €30 winners were Dan O'Brien, Colette McBrien, Patrick Delaney, Peter McBrien and Roger Weedhani. Aughavas GAA Fundraising Draw tickets are now for sale. €20 each or a book of three tickets for €50.  1st Prize is €3,000, 2nd Prize €1,000 and 5 Prizes of €100. Tickets are available from all Club Officers and players. Please support this draw.



A Club & Executive meeting will take place on Thursday 4th January at 9pm in the Club rooms.



Our annual Sean Kiernan Memorial Cup charity match took place on St Stephen's day at 2pm, whereby the under 30's defeated the over 30's.  Bridie Mollahan presented the Cup to Captain Paul Bohan and the Man of the Match trophy to Aidan Maguire.  A special thanks to Sambo Reilly for refereeing the match and managers Noel & Padraic for the u30's and Ciaran & Gerry for the over 30's . Thanks also to Gerry for an entertaining running commentary on the sideline during the match our own Davy Fitz!  Finally, thanks to all who helped out on the day.  The proceeds from the gate will be donated to the Leitrim Association for People with Disabilities.




Congratulations to Conor Bohan and Leona Traynor, Scotstown who got engaged recently.  We wish them lots of happiness.



Aughavas GAA Club would like to wish all our members, players, management, officials and supporters and their families at home and abroad a very Happy New Year.  We now look ahead to the 2018 season enthusiastically and look forward to your continued support.
