Stradbally co-captain Colm Kelly is adamant that they have plenty to play for yet this year.

Having denied Portlaoise their tenth consecutive title in last Sunday's Laois SFC final, Stradbally could be forgiven for taking their foot off the pedal now.

However, Kelly stressed that once the celebrations are out of the way, they will be knuckling down and focusing on the Leinster club SFC.

"We'll get focused and get back on the pitch," said Kelly. "There is a Leinster senior football championship to have a crack at.

"We have a good team and a good squad, we have a few players that came back into the squad in the last few weeks and we have good strength in depth, and we have the quality there to give this Leinster championship a rattle, so we'll enjoy it but we'll give it a go then."
