Zach Tuohy will be available to Portlaoise for their Laois SFC final against either Emo or Arles-Kilcruise after returning from Australia on Friday.

Manager Malachy McNulty confirmed after yesterday's semi-final win over Arles-Killeen that Tuohy is set to be part of Portlaoise's quest for a remarkable nine-in-a-row of county titles on Sunday week. It's not the first time that Tuohy has returned home to assist his home club after a long season in the AFL with Carlton.

Despite Carlton's struggles this year, the 2007 Leinster minor winner was named at small defender on the AFL Coaches Association's All-Australian team and was also voted Carlton's third best player of the season.

Portlaoise must wait until Thursday night to find out who they play in the final when Emo and Arles-Kilcruise replay their semi-final. Two late frees from Paul Lawlor and Evan Costello earned Emo a 1-10 to 0-13 draw with Glenn Ryan's men yesterday.
