The dust has barely settled on this year's championships and already thoughts are beginning to turn to next year's campaign.

Teams will discover the identity of their first round opponents when the draws for the 2016 senior provincial hurling and football championships take place live on RTE2 television on Thursday week, October 15.

Representatives from the four provincial councils will be on hand to perform the draws. Leinster held its minor, U21 and intermediate championship draws during the week and the other provinces are set to follow suit in the coming weeks. The Munster intermediate, junior, U21 and minor draws are slated for October 22.
