There is a mouth-watering Laois SHC quarterfinal down for decision this weekend.

Defending champions Rathdowney-Errill and league champions Clough-Ballacolla go head to head for a place in the last four of this year's championship.

The sides have had many great battles in recent years and Sunday's clash at O'Moore Park is set to be no different.

This is a repeat of the 2012 county final when a replay was needed to separate the sides on that occasion.

In the second quarterfinal of Sunday's doubleheader, Abbeyleix will be looking to looking to go one step further from last year as they prepare to take on 2014 senior B champions Ballinakill.

Also down for decision this weekend is the relegation play-off between Castletown and The Harps.
