Draw made for SFC round 2

August 12, 2015

Good win for Seneschalstown

The draw for the Laois senior football championship rounds 2A and 2B have been made.

There are some very interesting ties down for decision and after last weekend's rumbustious start to the campaign which saw nine red cards shown in various matches shown.

In round 2A, the pick of the games must be the meeting of Arles Killeen who will play the winners of Arles-Kilcruise and Graiguecullen who drew last weekend. This is a derby match, no matter who comes through.

The Heath will take on Ballyroan Abbey, while defending champions Portlaoise should be hot favourites against Killeshin. The last match in this group sees St Joseph's face Mountmellick.

Round 2B is last chance saloon for these teams as O'Dempsey's will face the losers of the Arles Kilcruise and Graiguecullen clash, while Crettyard take on Ballyfin; Emo face Ballylinan and Portarlington go head to head with Stradbally.
