Antrim manager Frank Fitzsimons firmly believes his team is capable of another surprise or two in this year's All-Ireland football championship.

The Saffrons boss was, understandably, very proud of his players following after their stirring comeback against Laois in O'Moore Park today.

"I know people out there will be laughing at me saying that but nobody gave us a chance today," he remarked to BBC Northern Ireland.

"We have the talent."

Fitzsimons added that he was left with no option but to drop St Gall's trio CJ McGourty, Kieran McGourty and Conor Burke after they played in a hurling match for their club last night.

"For me to have any belief in the rest of the squad, there was no way I could have played lads who hurled last night."
