Laois manager Tomas O'Flatharta is confident that the side can put a run together in the All-Ireland SFC qualifiers.

Following last weekend's drubbing at the hands of Kildare, the Laois manager could be forgiven for being in a despondent mood, but that is certainly not the case.

Laois take on Antrim this Saturday and O'Flatharta believes that they can bounce back and see off the Saffrons.

"There is a lot of football still to be played this season and I want us to be part of that. It will be a test of our character to see how strongly we can come back and it's really important that we turn this around really quickly and get back on the horse.

"We have a game next weekend, it's against Antrim, it's a home venue for us so we just have to start off from there again."
