Antrim defender Tony Scullion has issued a rallying call ahead of the Saffrons' crucial Qualifier clash with Laois.

The northerners travel to Portlaoise to take on the O'Moore County in a first-round back-door clash on Saturday afternoon and Scullion says the visitors will be giving it their all:

"This will be a third game in a fortnight for Laois and it remains to see how their stamina will be," he notes in The Belfast Telegraph.

"We will concentrate on getting our own game-plan right. This is a big, big game for us, a tough one by any standards, but we have to be up for it. We want to stay in the Qualifiers for as long as we can.

"The loss of Niall McKeever obviously is a disappointment, but we have players who are capable of stepping up to the plate. There are boys very proud to wear the Antrim jersey and I just hope that we can do ourselves justice against Laois.

"It doesn't matter where you to play, what matters is how you play. We will be playing from the heart on Saturday, believe me."
