The Laois GAA Poc Fada 2015

Laois Senior goalkeeper Eoin Reilly lost hold of his county and Leinster Poc Fada titles on Monday, as Camross's Thomas Dunphy was crowned Laois Senior Poc Fada Champion in the Slieve Bloom Mountains.

A little over 24 hours after beating Offaly for the first time in the Leinster SHC since 1972, Reilly had to be content with second place, following a keenly contested event on a 1km road course.

Reilly's Laois team-mate Ben Conroy was also among those taking part in the Senior event.

Meanwhile, Podge Delaney of The Harps club took Under 16 Hurling honours, with local girl Donnagh Mortimer from Camross crowned Under 16 Camogie champion.

The three winners will now take part in the M Donnelly Leinster Poc Fada Final on the Hill of Howth in Dublin on July 11th.
