Laois manager Tomas O'Flatharta is happy with preparations ahead of Saturday's Leinster SFC opener against Carlow.

The O'Moore County head for Netwatch Cullen Park where the are expected to record a comfortable win, but O'Flatharta stressed to the Leinster Express that they will not be taking the Barrowsiders for granted.

"Training has gone well, lads are getting fitter. As regards injuries we seem to be okay, the main injury doubt is Paul Begley, who is suffering from a hip injury and he doubtful for the game," said the Kerry native.

He added: "I would never look at things that are happening in other camps, a lot of the time if you get complacent about things like that you pay the price for it, that's why we are completely, completely focussed on what we are doing ourselves and the way that we want to play ourselves."
