Laois manager Seamus Plunkett is adamant that it is still all to play for in the Leinster SHC round robin series.

The O'Moore County lost out to Antrim in the opening round last weekend and now they cannot afford anymore slip ups.

Plunkett acknowledged this to the Leinster Express, but added that there may well be a few twists and turns before this stage of the campaign is completed.

"I suppose, we have a match this weekend and we're in the very same position as we were last year, we've got to pick ourselves up and get ready for Carlow next Sunday in Carlow and get back in the race here again," said Plunkett.

"I suspect some teams will take points off one another here as well, so we're going to go back and work ourselves, and see where we are, and work a little bit smarter and try to improve where we are and keep getting better and try to get a win out of next Sunday.

"If we do, we have a fortnight before we play Westmeath, and we are certainly not giving up on this."
