67-year-old Johnny McEvoy came to his club's rescue over the weekend.
Clonad were short on numbers for their Laois JH B clash against Timahoe so the pensioner saved them from having to give a walkover by lacing up the boots and lining out between the posts.
And his efforts were not in vain as Clonad recorded a 1-11 to 1-9 victory!
Fair play to Johnny who togged out alongside his two sons.
