Busy weekend on GAA front

Laois GAA supporters have plenty of action to follow over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

The action begins on Saturday as Mountrath CS compete in the All-Ireland PP Schools SHC B final against Cross and Passion from Antrim.

Then on Sunday, the Laois footballers will be hoping to avoid relegation as they travel to Newry to take on Down.

The action doesn't stop there as the Laois senior hurlers play Cork in a game to mark the 100th anniversary of Laois' All-Ireland win.

This game will be played in Ballacolla at 2.30pm on Easter Monday.
