Ireland rugby star and Laois native Alison Miller received a rapturous round of applause at O'Moore Park last Saturday night.

Miller came out on the pitch during half time of the clash between Laois and Kildare in the NFL Division Two campaign.

Ireland ladies won the Triple Crown and Six Nations title and Miller is no stranger to O'Moore Park having played for the Laois ladies in the past.
