Heres's our second football team of the week for 2015 ...

1. Enda Duffy (Monaghan)

The Farney newcomer thwarted Down on a number of occasions in Clones and can consider himself unfortunate to have finished up on the losing side.

2. Barry Mulrone (Fermanagh)

Played a key role in the build-up to Sean Quigley's late goal which secured the McKenna Cup spoils at the expense of Derry.

3. Brendan Donaghy (Armagh)

Donaghy put in an assured performance as Kieran McGeeney's Armagh restricted Antrim to three points from play during the course of the 70 minutes at Creggan.

4. John Rock (Westmeath)

Westmeath finished on a high with a morale boosting local derby win over Longford in Ballymahon.

5. Damian Turley (Down)

Turley and Down produced an encouraging performance against Monaghan in Clone to give new manager Jim McCorry his first victory.

6. Daniel St Ledger (Carlow)

The Barrowsiders' centre-back proved to be the rock on which many a Louth attack perished in Dr Cullen Park.

7. Peter Harte (Tyrone)

The attacking half-back made the scoresheet with a point as the Red Hands scored a comprehensive 1-12 to 0-3 win over St Mary's at Healy Park.

8. Fiontan O Curraoin (Galway)

O Curraoin and his midfielder partner Enda Tierney held the upperhand against their Leitrim opponents in Mohill.

9. Emmett O Conghaile (Dublin)

The young midfielder was singled out for special mention by manager Jim Gavin following his late match-winning point against Laois in O'Moore Park.

10. Graham Reilly (Meath)

The Royal star continued his bright start to the new year, sending over three points in the draw with DCU at Pairc Tailteann.

11. Odhran MacNiallais (Donegal)

The Gweedore man helped himself to six points, four of which came from general play, as the defeated All-Ireland finalists claimed Queen's scalp.

12. Kevin McLoughlin (Mayo)

The industrious half-forward was Mayo's best performer against the students of IT Sligo and chipped in with three points.

13. Darroch Mulhall (Kildare)

UCD were unable to cope with Lilywhite danger man Mulhall who finished the game in Newbridge with nine points to his credit.

14. Donncha O'Connor (Cork)

The experienced forward notched up 1-4 in the first-half at Clonmel to send the Rebels on the road to a McGrath Cup victory over Tipperary.



15. Thomas Hickey (UCC)

The corner-forward top-scored with 2-5 as the Cork college outfit inflicted a 10-point loss on Limerick in Rathkeale.
