Rathdowney-Errill begin their Leinster club senior hurling championship campaign this Sunday afternoon.

The Laois champions take on Dublin champions Kilmacud Crokes at Parnell Park and Rathdowney/Errill will need to be at their best to get through this one.

However, they have the players to do just that and they will not be daunted by the task in hand.

Kilmacud have a number of county players in their ranks including Dublin's Ryan O'Dwyer and they won their county final last weekend when defeating St Jude's after extra time.

Meanwhile, Kyle begin their Leinster club Special JHC with a trip to Athlone in Westmeath where they will take on home side Southern Gaels.
