Jack Sheedy has added former Laois manager Sean Dempsey to his Longford senior football backroom team.

Chairman Brendan Gilmore revealed to The Examiner that Dempsey has been brought on board as a coach by Sheedy for the 2015 season.

Former player Philip Kiernan, meanwhile, is to replace Liam Keenan as a selector.
